Production Assistance

It’s a new setup company from China, listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The company manufactures plastic, canvas, tents, and other products. It exports to countries such as South Africa and Australia.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Assistant. The Production Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for production processes.
2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and supplies.
3. Operate machinery and equipment under the supervision of skilled workers.
4. Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
5. Assist in the packaging and labeling of products for shipment.
6. Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
7. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.
8. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times.
9. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in production techniques.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in production or manufacturing is preferred.
2. Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
3. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
5. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
6. Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
9. Adherence to safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
