Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
- ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A activities in an MNC setting .
- Previous experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Fluent in Mandarin will be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage the company’s financial risk by identifying potential areas of concern and implementing appropriate strategies to mitigate risks.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their continued professional development and growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business performance and achieve financial objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, including executive management and board members.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
